Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out how you may use JobMason. It supplements our Terms & Conditions. By using JobMason you agree to follow this policy.

2. What you may not do

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information about yourself, your background, your employer, or another person
  • Impersonate any person or organization, or misrepresent your affiliation with one
  • Submit content owned by someone else without permission
  • Generate, distribute, or host content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, hateful, sexually explicit, or that infringes intellectual-property rights
  • Attempt to extract source code, model weights, or training data, or to reverse-engineer the Service or any third-party model accessed through it
  • Bypass authentication, rate-limits, paywalls, quota enforcement, or any other access control
  • Run automated scripts that abuse the Service (scraping our pages, mass account creation, brute-force enumeration, credential stuffing)
  • Send spam or unsolicited marketing using emails or content generated through the Service
  • Apply for jobs at scale in ways that violate the target employer's ATS terms (e.g. autofilling Workday or Greenhouse forms without consent or with falsified data)
  • Probe, scan, or test the security of the Service without our prior written authorization
  • Introduce malware, worms, viruses, or any other harmful code
  • Use the Service in violation of export-control or sanctions laws

3. Prompt-injection, jailbreak, and AI misuse

Do not attempt to coerce our AI features into:

  • Producing content that violates this AUP or applicable law
  • Disclosing system prompts, model identifiers, internal instructions, or other users' data
  • Generating advice that masquerades as professional legal, medical, or financial counsel
  • Producing content designed to deceive a hiring panel about a candidate's actual qualifications

We use automated content moderation and rate-limiting on AI endpoints. Repeated violations may result in account suspension.

4. Reporting abuse

If you see content or activity on JobMason that violates this AUP, report it to contact@vantaso.org. Copyright complaints follow the DMCA process described in our Terms.

5. Enforcement

We may, at our sole discretion: warn you, throttle your account, suspend AI features, terminate your account, retain or hand over data to law enforcement when legally required, and pursue civil or criminal remedies. Where it is feasible and lawful to do so, we will give notice before terminating; in serious cases (security incidents, child-safety violations, fraud, repeat copyright infringement) we may act immediately.

6. Changes

We may update this AUP. We'll post the revised version here with a new "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify users by email.
